The Precinct is located on the northwest of Tainan City. It covers three districts: Syuejia, Beimen and Jiangjun. To the north of the Precinct is Budai Precinct of Jiayi County. It borders Xinying Precinct to the northeast, Madou Precinct to the east and Jiali Precinct to the south. The coastline within the Precinct extends from Bazhang River in the north through Qing Kun Ni in the south for a total length of 23.5 km. Fisheries are distributed all over the coastline. There are quite a few river streams in this area. Jiangjun River runs throughout the districts, which have a flat terrain.
